200 km out of Sao
Paulo, located in the southern coast-district of the Federal State of Sao
Paulo, one finds the island "Ilha Comprida". The "long
island"'s beach is 74 km long and perfect to go for a walk and offers
excellent condiotions for water-sports such as Strandsegeln and surfing. For
those who prefere a relaxed time, a boat-trip through the mangroves or some
fishing might be suitable. Besides a rich flora and fauna , the Ilha
Comprida is home for the last existind sand dunes in the Federal State of
Sao Paulo. Another exciting point is an excursion to the 450 year-old
Colonial City Iguape, one of the first cities in Brazil. Other optional
trips to e.g. the lovely town Paraty can be attached to this program!
